About Mac

Mac is a stout-built, 10-year-old bay gelding standing 15 hands tall. He is a quiet, gentle, dependable ranch horse with extensive experience sorting and penning cattle, loading trucks, and handling everyday ranch work. He is equally comfortable on the trail and confidently handles water, downfall, rocks, logs, traffic, and other obstacles. Mac has been ridden through town and remains calm around traffic and new situations. He has also been used to pony colts. He is easy to catch, saddles quietly, stands well for the farrier, and stays consistent even after time off. Under saddle, Mac has a big walk, smooth trot, and comfortable lope. He lopes from a standstill, responds willingly to leg pressure, side passes to open and close gates, spins nicely, and neck reins with ease. He is responsive without being overly sensitive or anxious.
