About Hades

Hades is an exceptional 8-year-old Friesian/Quarter Horse gelding standing 15.2 hands. He combines the elegant look of a Friesian with the smooth, comfortable ride and versatility of a Quarter Horse. He is gentle, reliable, beginner-friendly, and has the kind of personality that makes him a true partner. Hades is comfortable on trails, in the arena, around cattle, over fences, and in new environments. He can lead, follow, or ride alone and confidently handles water, bridges, logs, rocks, traffic, dogs, bikes, wildlife, and other trail obstacles. He is calm around kids and beginners and remains steady even in busy environments. He rides Western, English, and bareback and responds well to both rein and voice cues. He neck reins, backs, moves off leg pressure, pivots, and has a dependable whoa. He can walk, jog, trot, and canter and is willing to jump without becoming hot or strong. Around the barn, Hades has excellent ground manners. He loads and trailers well, stands quietly for grooming, bathing, tacking, the vet, and farrier, and enjoys attention. He is an easy keeper with no maintenance or supplements required. He is currently wearing front shoes for rocky trails. Hades is up to date on Coggins, worming, farrier care, and vaccinations and is due for a dental this fall. A health certificate can be provided for shipping if required.
